Day 9: Daily Drawing 2021

It's a fish, it's a boat, it's a space ship.... It's a fish boat space craft.... 

Well this did do the thing I wanted. have motion and look like its moving. It did not how ever end up like I thought it would. That bing a crazy mixed media piece and showcase my representational drawing skills too. Despite having technically all day to draw I chose to go outside and get some fresh air. Along with work on some other tasks I have. So this ended up not going as planned. 

It still looks good. and I like the weird shape in the upper left that squiggly line.
​I think that would be fun to bass tomorrows drawing off of.

Looking at it more I dont know if I like all the negative space. Like sure it's fine. But, I feel like what this project is making me do is want to think more about what I am putting on the page before I actually touch pen to paper. That is kind of scary. And against how I have approached this style of drawing from the beginning. 

I wonder what a drawing would look like if I did a little under study or under drawing with a hard pencil and then did the final drawing over it... I want that to be next years me problem but I don't know if I can wait that long to start making longer and larger drawings.
