I have a new paper that I am using. it is a Bristol Vellum paper. I must say it is very nice. And way better than using the Stonehenge Drawing paper. The main reason is that the Vellum paper has a smoother finish and my nib doesn't get caught in the paper as easily. Which makes for less fixing of random extra ink and thick lines. I will move forward with a similar paper for the majority of this project. Unless I tryout pencils or something.

This drawing was fun it is bigger 6x9 instead of 4.5x5.5 But that also means I needed twice as long on it. I did get up even earlier today so that definitely helped. I'm not rushing around right now. I wanted to get back to trying out curved shapes. Or some kind of spiral. it kind of got there. Starting off with the black dots first and working the spiral to that really did influence how much of a spin I could put on it. Though I feel if I started with a smaller center circle and a pencil draft of the shape I was going for it would have been tighter. However that also feels against the spirit of these drawings. That spirit being more improvisational and current inspiration instead of a predetermined and mapped out drawing from the beginning.

I like how much space the drawing takes up while still not being overly heavy in any spot.

What do you think?

See you tomorrow!
