So I actually do use Cream colored paper... I feel like I should clarify why this is something I'm starting this with and not talking about the art. You see I have a white balance setting on the editing app I use. It could have turned this Black and White. However the image doesn't actually look like that. Though now that I see this on my computer screen I'm not sure it is as saturated as it appears... ok yeah it is I just put some white paper next to it and man did that change my opinion on the color of the paper. Anyway now you're not being lied to anymore you're welcome.

This art thing now... I went back through some old drawings yesterday and they really inspired me to try out this today. I had an eyeball theme for a while in the beginning. But to be honest I kind of forgot how I drew them this morning so I just went with what came to mind instead. I also didn't want to draw "real" looking eyes this small and with this pen (not yet).

So, for me now this looks totally different then my old ones too. Because instead of coming off as eyes they look more like orbs of energy inside a structure. Ok, maybe the whole conversation about this being floating cities really got to me yesterday and now I am totally on board with that theme. But let's explore that anyway shall we.

If this were a space with many spires and levels they would need a way to power it. Magic obviously works but in D&D (ok you caught me I'm a nerd) there is a neat setting (Eberron for those that care) that harness Elementals (those are creature) and trap them to use their energy to power their vehicles. So this could be a wizards tower trapping air elementals to stay aloft. Or fire elementals and it's like a big hot air ballon. Also I bet it would be warm like a tropical island... (I wish I was on a tropical island) which brings me to my next point. My room is cold.

Why does this matter? Because I have noticed that the colder my hand gets the more it is likely to get stuck in a position while drawing. Or (at best?) jerk around in its trial around the paper. This comes from an accident years ago which ended up in my second thumb joint (the one where your thumb connects to your hand) getting mostly fused together and drastically changing the way I can draw. So what this means is in my morning drawing sessions I also have to keep that in mind when I am about to make a mark to make sure I don't mess things up too bad. Along with that my marks are not always the correct pressure I'm going for either.

Anyway I off for the day. I guess I didn't really talk about the art today but more about thought on it and me. Oh well.

Still hate that signature

Hit the button below for the YouTube video (my best so far)

See you tomorrow!

P.S. I have really been into LoFi music as of late. So if any of you have an artist of band you would suggest that would be much appreciated.
